1 F1 2022
We no longer present the F1 20XX series which has become the flagship of Formula 1 on consoles and PC. For the 2022 season, Codemaster is offering us an even more advanced simulation, which offers a tough challenge. If the graphics and immersion always push the realism further, we can regret that the versions designed for the Xbox Series X and PS5 do not exploit more the capacities of these two machines. Still, this F1 2022 is displayed on the top of the podium in terms of delivering nervous and precise driving sensations. Above all, the pleasure of driving is present at all levels, whether you are a beginner or an expert at the wheel.
well built to discover the behind-the-scenes of this sport. At the same time, all of the circuits and drivers are on the starting grid, while the multiplayer mode is still proving to be just as demanding and exciting.
2 FLIGHT SIMULATOR
Microsoft Flight Simulator also took off July 27 on Xbox X and S Series. A return eagerly awaited by console owners, especially since this high-flying aerial simulation was widely welcomed by the press and players in 2022. With Flight Simulator, it is above all the world that is offered to you to admire its beauty and be moved by horizons that are always difficult to admire in these times of health crisis.
3 RIMS RACING
The real pleasant surprise of the month of August when its release, RiMS Racing is a game to put in the hands of motorcycle fans. This very demanding simulation, proposed around a small fleet of two-wheelers (eight in total) may seem poor in content at first glance, but this product actually hides a strong concept and a much more extensive offer than is possible. might believe it. If it is of course to get on a bike and turn the throttle, the developers have also developed a side less exploited in video games: mechanics lessons. And if you like to get your hands dirty, you’re going to be satisfied. Because you will have to know everything about your motorcycle by dismantling screw by screw, bolt by bolt, the mechanical parts that compose it. It will thus be necessary to manage the wear, replacement, and resale, from the tires to the carburetor, including the brake pads, the engine, the gearbox … An incredibly interesting and ultimately quite educational aspect that injects a little new blood into this type of game. Race side, it will be sharp and skillfully dose gas and brakes not to crash at each turn. While RiMS Racing can still be improved (particularly in terms of braking management), this first opus lays the foundations for a concept that deserves to be developed. it will be necessary to be sharp and skillfully dose gas and brakes so as not to crash at each turn. 4 WRC 10 (SEPTEMBER 2)
A year after a more than convincing WRC 9, its sequel will come at the right time for rally fans. The official game of the world championship will be at the rendezvous at the start of the school year on PS4, Xbox One, PC, but also optimized on PS5 and Xbox Series. WRC 10 will celebrate the 50 years of the WRC championship a little in advance (which will celebrate them in 2022) and the French of KT Racing intend this time to offer a legendary edition that will bring together the great champions who have marked the history of the discipline, including Sébastien Loeb, Sébastien Ogier, Carlos Sainz, Petter Solberg, Tommi Mäkinen and Colin McRae, in addition to being able to compete in the current championship. See you on September 2 to get behind the wheel.
5 ART OF RALLY
In a less realistic universe, but which remains focused on simulation, Art of Rally arises there. Available on PC since 2022, this title that revisits the world of off-road racing has recently arrived on Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series. If some will think of Micro Machines games from its top-down approach, Art of Rally nevertheless stands out by offering a demanding drive of 72 specials. Six different environments (snow, earth, sand …) offer in their own way a different approach, completed by historic vehicles from the world of the WRC reworked in cartoon style. Minimalist but really addicting, it would be a shame to miss it. Especially since it is free in the Game Pass subscription for Xbox owners from this month of August.
